Summary
Match My Size does not require an account to save a favorite garment's measurements or run a comparison — guest use is fully supported and nothing is saved after your session ends. If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address to enable login and sync your saved favorites. The App does not sell or share your data with third parties. If you use the App's built-in screenshot scanning feature, the screenshot is processed entirely on your device and is never uploaded, transmitted, or stored anywhere — not even by us.
Small Tools Studio ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Match My Size mobile application (the "App"). Match My Size helps you compare a new clothing item's size chart against measurements you've saved from clothes that already fit you. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and your choices.
Information We Access
Guest use. You can save a favorite's measurements and run a comparison without creating an account. In guest mode, nothing is stored on our servers — your data lives only in the App's memory for that session and is discarded when the session ends.
Account (optional). If you choose to sign in, we use Firebase Authentication and collect your email address and an internal user ID. This lets you save up to 5 favorite garments' measurements and your comparison history, synced across your devices via Firebase Firestore.
Saved measurements. Reference profiles you save (a name and the measurements you choose to enter, e.g. "blue jacket — chest 42, sleeve 25") and the size-chart comparisons you run are measurements of clothing items, not of your body. This data is stored in Firestore, tied to your account.
On-device screenshot scanning. If you use the App's screenshot-based size chart scanning feature, the image is processed entirely on your device using on-device text recognition. It is never uploaded to our servers, never sent to any cloud service, and never stored anywhere — not even temporarily on our end. Once the size numbers are read, the screenshot is discarded, and you always review and confirm the numbers before they're used in a comparison.
We do not collect:
- Your name, physical address, or phone number
- Precise or approximate location
- Contacts, photos, or videos (other than the transient on-device scanning described above)
- Health, fitness, or body measurement data — only measurements of clothing items you choose to save
- Payment or financial information
Analytics
We do not use Google Analytics for Firebase. We do use Firebase Performance Monitoring to automatically measure technical performance — app start time, screen rendering speed, and network request latency — so we can identify and fix slow or broken parts of the App. This happens automatically once the App starts and is not linked to your account. It may collect:
- Technical performance data (app start time, screen rendering, network/HTTP request performance)
- An anonymous, app-specific installation identifier used to aggregate this performance data
This data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from Firebase. It is not linked to your account and cannot be used to identify you personally. We do not use Firebase Crashlytics or any other crash-reporting tool. If this changes, we will update this policy to disclose what crash data is collected.
We do not show ads, and we do not use advertising or tracking SDKs.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party service to function:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database) — to manage sign-in and store your saved favorites and comparison history if you create an account
Firebase processes this data on our behalf to operate the App and does not use it for its own independent purposes. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Data Security
Data sent between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit.
Children's Privacy
Match My Size is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the information below and we will delete it.
Account Deletion
You can delete individual saved favorites at any time from within the App. To request deletion of your entire Match My Size account and its associated data (email address, internal user ID, saved favorites, and comparison history), email byobmap.tw@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my account," sent from the email address associated with your account. We will delete your account data within 30 days and confirm by email once complete.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
